Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
